I've been perusing so many blogs - mostly quilting and i came across the following idea . Unfortunately, I can't remember where i saw it or I could give credit.
Outside my window..it's dreary and overcast. We've had so much rain.
I am thinking..how lovely it is to have Pete and Jo here . They are helping with meal preparation. Yippee.
I am thankful for Jesus taking my sin upon Himself; redeeming all those who love Him.
From the kitchen wafts a burnt smell..Pete's french toast is slightly overdone. man, that maple syrup is good.
I am wearing a denim-coloured top which Steve and I bought at Cambridge markets in August 2007.
I am reading a few books, as I am want to do. Pilcher's Winter Solstice, Keller's The Prodigal God, Rosner's Consolations of Theology, Gottman's book on marriage (title escapes me) plus quilting books. So much great stuff.
I am hoping that Bach's St Matthews Passion is accurate and well sung tonight.
I am creating an interesting wall-space above my study desk. I need to purchase a noticeboard and some book holders.
I am hearing Pete and Jo vacuum their car... they'll find stuff they've lost, I'm sure.
One of my favourite things is watching the little robins and wrens outside, especially as they bathe. they sound so happy.
A few plans for the rest of the week... meeting with Small group tomorrow to discuss Egan's exercises (part of my course requirements), finishing Daniel's quilt, working out how to put photos on this blogspot...
Around the house i see grass cuttings and blown-in dirt. I need to vacuum the floors.
